I had a further thought about this...
AIUI ARM Linux Oberon supports at least some versions of the RasPi, e.g.
http://oberon.wikidot.com/oberon-linux-revival-olr
If it can compile to RasPi-compatible ARMv7 that should be a useful
starting point, I think, no?
