Andreas:

yes, I remember. I am very grateful and appreciative! But you promised to keep it frozen while you keep working on your mainline compiler... which has many safety enhancements. It will feel safer to follow your mainline.

I will rework B2 quite extensively anyway, because I noticed too many classes and methods which were trivial wrappers around Files. HMB did this for a tutorial reasons and I followed. Now it is time to unwind ;-) I have learned a bit over the 25 years that have passed.

Wojtek,

just as a reminder: The retro-compiler under Extended Oberon is available at https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://github.com/andreaspirklbauer/Oberon-retro-compiler__;!!CGUSO5OYRnA7CQ!aComkzUY6lKBxc98OfXTobKHS6295qMEqDwpbObL8WRlp2p_QzBdJ8getqa9lsZiTzb1KxKzl36hdcZ5dOsgF1HgTmmP5hr7-A$

This is your retro flag. It runs as is.
Andreas
