Thank you, I appreciate. Keeping the PO book up-to-date sounds like a good idea. There was already
an attempt to migrate the book to TeX a few years ago (see https://github.com/guidoism/tex-oberon ) 
and I thought about migrating the sources to my LeanDoc format, which I consider more practical for 
this kind of task (see https://github.com/rochus-keller/leandoc/ ). But for my present system
implementation to be attractive for such a book update, it might be an issue that it's no longer 
Oberon-07 and there is no compiler and dynamic module loading in the system. Rikke's
approach seems more suitable for refactoring to a faithful implementation with as little original code  
changes as possible, virtually only touching the compiler and CPU chapters.

Hi Rochus,

Just a short note of appreciation for all you have done to enliven this project for future generations. A revised version of Wirth’s book with your amendments that works against a readily available bit of commodity hardware would strengthen this effort further in my opinion. If you ever decide to embark upon such a project I will happily answer any call for help adapting the text, testing and documenting hardware, etc.
