Check the picture for Russian Cyrillic
Difference in Ukrainian is:
1.(~) contain ru "jo" but ua "gh" i.e. gh with serif up
( ua gh on (u) has serif down )
2. (]) contain ru hard sign but ua "ji" i.e. i with double dot under
3. (s) contain ua i
4. (') contain ua soft e i.e. as russian but turn to right
If You have Windows PanEuropean, You can simply add ukrainian layout
and look at.

I think remapping font is good, but not useful except comments and
other non-processing text. Historically, creators of S3 wrote in Latin
and know English. NLS support is so huge. May be better way is study
English or German? Knowledges of foreign language is good too.
Cyrillic not resolve all. (Sure, my native language has cyrillic
letter,what of that? )
Second stage will kanna and hangul. Or cli?
