Hi Doug

> Thanks. That's 200MB for an editor.

And the rest! It relies on LaTex which for the Mac, it says, is a 1GB
download.
That's not to say it's not a worthy effort, given all the self-inflicted
complexity, most of which isn't their fault...

However, I couldn't resist.
In contrast, here's a log from my RISC FPGA Oberon system just now.
RISC.img as from projectoberon.com. These are bytes, not K, M or G:

Oberon V5 NW 14.4.2013
(on startup, 2 GUI viewers)
System.Watch ... Modules ... 113024 21% Heap ... 37024 8%
(after System.Collect)
System.Watch ... Modules ... 113024 21% Heap ... 16416 3%
System.Directory *.Mod
Edit.Open Tools.Mod
(multi-font, WYSIWYG, GUI text editor loaded)
System.Watch ... Modules ... 119136 22% Heap ... 25952 6%
ORP.Compile Tools.Mod ~
OR Compiler 15.12.2013
  compiling Tools
compilation done 577 48
(after compile)
System.Watch ... Modules ... 228960 43% Heap ... 38528 9%
Tools.Convert Tools.Mod.txt
converting to Tools.Mod done
Edit.Store Tools.Mod 4283
converting to Tools.Mod.txt done
System.Watch ... Modules ... 231968 44% Heap ... 58080 13%
Tools.Convert System.Log.txt
...

Anyway. You get the idea. :)

Cheers,
Paul
