[Equal] Work-life balance short corse for the Higher Education Sector/DCC

liebe equals,
vor Jahren haben wir an der ETHZ probiert, etwas fuer die "Dual 
Career Couples" zu tun, die Paare, bei welchen beide Teile eine 
Karriere haben/wollen und welche mobil sein muessen/wollen. Wir kamen 
leider nicht soweit, dass man das "...we are responsive to the needs 
of dual career couples", das an einigen USA-Universitaeten gilt, zur 
ETHZ-Kultur fuegen konnten. Immerhin gibts ein Angebot auf Stufe 
ProfessorInnen, wo v.a. den Frauen von Professoren geholfen wird, 
sich in Zuerich zu aklimatisieren, wenn ihre Maenner neu nach ZH 
kommen. Das konnte auch soweit gehen, dass die sehr gut qualifizierte 
Frau  auch Professorin wurde - vielleicht muss man annehmen, dass der 
Mann sonst auch nicht gekommen waere.  Aber wichtig waere es ja auch 
auf Postdoc- und Doktorierneden-Ebene. Da gibt's noch vielzu tun.
Ob der unten angeboten Kurs in dieser Richtung geht - keine Ahnung, 
ich war noch nicht auf der Website. Aber, was die Leute selber tun 
koennen zum Thema Work-Life-Balance ist ja das Eine - und die 
Uni's/grosse und kleine Firmen koennten also auch das jeweilige 
Potential nutzen....Jegliche Work-Life-Balance duerfte fuer Paare 
einfacher sein, wenn man in derselben Stadt wohnt oder mindestens in 
der Naehe.
