Im Mai lädt das Dekanat der Medizinischen Fakultät im Rahmen der Hedi
Fritz-Niggli Gastprofessur, dem Laufbahnförderungsprogramm "Filling the
Gap" und dem Aktionsplan Chancengleichheit 2013-2016 zu zwei
Veranstaltungen ein:
Der Negotiation-Workshop ist für Medizinerinnen aller Schweizer
Universitäten / universitären Spitäler, Teilnahmegebühren werden keine
erhoben; die Brownbag-Veranstaltung ist offen für alle.

May 12th (1.15 - 6 p.m.): Negotiation: Know what you want, Get what you
need
A Workshop and Panel for Women in Medicine
Participants willâ¦
work to clearly articulate their personal and career goals
be able to identify several negotiating strategies and develop an
understanding of the risks and benefits of their own negotiating
style
be able to model negotiating strategies in career advancement, the
clinical environment, and in personal interactions
have the opportunity to talk to established women scientists about
the key points in their academic career

Brownbag Lecture and Interactive Workshop with Nancy Wastcoat Garbett,
M.Ed.
In academic pursuits, finding your focus is very important for individual
academic progress and success. By finding your passion you can be energized
to reach your goal and be more engaged and effective in your work and life.
As a way of becoming conscious and intentional about our lives on a daily
basis, Nancy Garbett will offer The Alignment Model (TM) as a template for
aligning what we do with our beliefs, values, sense of self, and reason for
being.
A snack will be provided.
