Hello Equals, 

I am pleased to announce two events in the month of October sponsored by the women's peer mentoring group in the UZH WWF faculty. The workshop is focused on female scholars and participants, but male applicants are also welcome. The panel discussion is open to all comers.

PhD Workshop: Management & International Networkshop
October 10-12, 2014, University of Zurich
This workshop fosters cooperation and networking between young researchers in management studies and successful scholars from the United States and Europe. Our intimate, multidisciplinary event will afford 20 doctoral students with the opportunity to present full papers for round table discussions or project ideas for oral presentations and learn valuable insights from seasoned scholars.

Prof. Dr. Jacqueline Coyle-Shapiro, full professor at the London School of Economics (UK)
Prof. Dr. Victoria L. Brescoll, assistant professor at Yale University (USA)
Jessica R. Methot, assistant professor at Rutgers University (USA)

Panel Discussion: Managing an International Academic Career

Please join us for a public panel on planning, organizing, and executing an academic career across countries with scholars at the postdoc, early professor, and full professor career stages. Panelists will relate their personal experiences and provide advice based on questions submitted by audience members in the formal discussion. During the informal Apéro, attendees can ask questions and converse with panelists individually.

Prof. Dr. Karl Schmedders, full professor at UZH
Prof. Dr. Florian Stahl, full professor at the University of Mannheim (Germany)
Dr. Cindy Lopes-Bento, postdoctoral researcher at UZH and KU Leuven (Belgium)
Dr. Alexandra Arnold, postdoctoral researcher at UZH currently working in New York City (USA)
