is promoting individual virtual screenings of the documentary *Picture a 
Scientist.

"/PICTURE A SCIENTIST chronicles the groundswell of researchers who are 
writing a new chapter for women scientists. Biologist Nancy Hopkins 
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nancy_Hopkins_(scientist)>, chemist 
Raychelle Burks <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raychelle_Burks>, and 
geologist Jane Willenbring 
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_K._Willenbring> lead viewers on a 
journey deep into their own experiences in the sciences, ranging from 
brutal harassment to years of subtle slights. Along the way, from 
cramped laboratories to spectacular field stations, we encounter 
scientific luminaries - including social scientists, neuroscientists, 
and psychologists - who provide new perspectives on how to make science 
itself more diverse, equitable, and open to all/."

The Zurich chapter of 500WS is hosting a screening *from **October 
24-27*.  If you are interested,

  * On October 24th, you will receive a link to the film. The link will
    be active for 72 hours.
  * On October 27th, join us for an Zoom discussion about the film.
    Participation in the Zoom discussion is optional.
