Perhaps you think the newER versions do not run under DOS and 386 ?

I started with V2.3.2 StandAlone on a 386 - very good !
Later V2.3.6 was DOS based (386) - I can't remember any differences
from V2.3.2.

The substantial difference came in 2001, with multiple partitions
(not applicable to DOS) which allowed the management of
several files-spaces (directories).

Apparently the lateST versions no longer run on 386 ?
