Thanks for your examples. I have thought a bit more about it and think that
since I want to attach a model gadget to a panel I will extend JM's Reminder
system for the basic idea, but, and this is the crucial point I think I
missed, extend the normal Gadgets.AttrMsg to allow longer strings. This will
mean, I think, that Columbus can no longer read/write the SQL statement
(unless it is 63 or fewer characters in length), but then I might as well
have a specialist panel for handling my Data* models and views.
Can you, or anyone else, see a problem with this?
