[Oberon] "mirroring" of filesystem

Recently I listened to Mac users discuss
"mirroring" of a filesystem to a second 
drive as a convenient means of backup.  
In Oberon and Aos we can use *.Store, 
OFSTools.GenCopyFiles and OFSTools.CopyTo.

Has anyone done anything at a lower level
to make the mirroring invisible?
