Wasn't this addressed years ago?

Babel and Regul do not impose the line limitation.  
You should install Grard's latest release.  At least a 
few details critical to End-of-line were added after 
2003-01-05; ie. after the last Alpha NO.

Installation and learning take some time but are certainly 
a good investment.
