[Oberon] Linux ETH Oberon: crashes ?

This is perhaps, more of a linux query.

I moved away from Native Oberon [which never crashes]
to LEO, because of greater productivety via the ability to
multitask. Eg. the ability to fetch News, Mail, http..etc.
all during one dialup session.

Multitasking requires 'switching out' of the desktop/displays
which contain LEOs into displays that contain other tasks.

Often, when I switch back to the LEO task, it has disapeared,
i.e. crashed.

Typically linux shows the following error message:
>  Oberon boot loader has been compiled without Threads support!
 = this is the startup message i.e. before any problems
> X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
>   Major opcode of failed request:  42 (X_SetInputFocus)
 =  those 2 lines would tell an 'X expert' what's wrong ?
>   Serial number of failed request:  343415
>   Current serial number in output stream:  343416
> 

I'm going to try to query the 'X' newsgroups ?

Can someone advise how to fix this ?
