All:

I received the quote for assembling the RiskOne board. I will order two pieces for our own consumption. If anyone is interested then please e-mail me and I will add your board to the order. I am willing to sell it to the Oberon list participants for zero profit. It means you cover the cost of the board as is, plus shipping charges to your location.

Example: If there are three persons on the list who want the board, then the total order will be five boards, and you will be charged $416 + shipping plus tax, if your location requires paying tax. The numbers below are almost final because the assembly house is also charging shipping, which will be evenly divided among the participants. Also, do not be surprised by the cost. Those skilled in the art will recognize it is a fairly typical pricing. Those less skilled should take note.

The original Wirth SoC occupied about 22% of the LX25 FPGA. The VGA to HDMI core will add about 10%. The predicted FPGA occupancy is about 30%. It means that more than a half of the FPGA is left for your additions to the SoC. Also note that this is a prototype run. You may want to review the schematic before committing to this board. I will gladly make the schematic available. Just let me know.

I will submit the order next week, so please do not delay if you want to try this board.
