Thanks Liam.

In that note, Thom Holwerda remarks, "... runs on all platforms where 
LeanQt is available ...".  I found LeanQt is at  
https://github.com/rochus-keller/LeanQt .

Familiar systems have dozens of precompiled Qt packages.  Debian has a 
long list.  A precompiled Qt package might let me try Rochus' Oberon
with minimal preparation.
