Dear Oberon Enthusiasts
The disappearance of Prof. Niklaus Wirth's homepage has caused some
irritation that I understand.
Please be aware that this happened as the result of an automated process
and nobody at ETH has made a deliberate decision to remove the website.
The website should be reachable again, according to our support group it
has been reinstated this morning 08:00h. You might need to refresh your
browser cache.
What happens with the website in the long term, or if and how there will
be a long-term replacement in some form, will be decided by the computer
science department of ETH together with the family of Prof. Wirth. I
listen to this channel and will forward your suggestions, ideas, worries
(etc.) to the responsible people where I can.
Kind regards
Felix Friedrich
