Thanks for the advice. I double-checked the trackpoint in other constallations and it works fine with MacOS and Raspberry Pi OS, so not a hardware issue. I'll try other keyboards&mices with the Pi 3b.
It is always pleasant to see Oberon booting :-)

The timing seems still to be fragile and the settings not yet optimal. On my Pi 3b it works with all keyboards and mice I have at hand. When I manage to make it work on the Pi Zero 2, maybe the driver gets also more robust on the Pi 3b so you could then try again. I will make a post when a new version is ready.
