@ Ulrich Hoffmann
Thanks for the information. Meanwhile I was able to do tests on the Pi Zero 2 which has the same architecture as the Pi 3b, and also there I have issues with the USB driver. The timing seems still to be fragile and the settings not yet optimal. On my Pi 3b it works with all keyboards and mice I have at hand. When I manage to make it work on the Pi Zero 2, maybe the driver gets also more robust on the Pi 3b so you could then try again. I will make a post when a new version is ready.
Concerning the strange track-point behaviour: did you try the Lenovo keyboard on another computer and are you sure the issue is not caused by the trackpoint itself? I had broken trackpoint keyboards in the past showing similar effects.
Best regards
R.K.

Hello Rochus,
thanks for the hints about USB intialization. Beeing patient, it now works - however with strange results:
+ The original Raspberry Pi Mouse works fine.
- The original Raspberry Pi Keyboard does not work regardless of the USB port used
- The trackpoint on the Lenovo keyboard just gives y values so the mouse cursor just moves vertically.
+ The Lenovo Keyboard keys work fine.
So - I now have a working combo (Pi mouse and Lenovo keyboard).
Let me know if you need any information about my specific keyboard models or log files...
Best regards,
Ulrich
