Why?  What was the difficulty?

Ideally Oberon users write support for it.  Otherwise set up 
any old PC as a Linux based MTA which happily cooperates with ETHO.

The contrast between the enthusiasm of developers for 
Linux and the lack of interest in Oberon is striking.
