Currently there is a loan and Spartan3 Spartan3 developer panels and
Linux environment (Ubuntu 10.14).

You must learn how to "flash" the FGPGA board correctly is all you need to
learn if you want to simply load the '.bin' files for Project Oberon.
Make sure it is the correct Spartan 3 model board. Only the ones with the
SRAM will work.

These little ESP8266 modules look very promising. They even come in the
same form factor as the NRF24l01'a. It look's to be rather strait forward
to communicate over SPI with these neat little boards. I have the newest
model with all the GPIO's ( 8 total I think?). They use the old 'AT' style
modem commands. Once connected, we have full net access. Even can run a
server:

The little MCU backing these chips are very powerful in their own right.
They are made by Tensilica and are really innovative. They even can have
FPGA functionality with it's own Verilog like language called 'TIE'. Sure
would be nice to be able to target these chips with Astrobe Oberon.

How do you move files onto the SD card? Anyone know? I tried extracting the
ISO and adding files and un-extracting it again. None of the files appear
visible to Oberon though. Am I using the wrong encoding somehow?
